Description

This vintage teapot by Genin Trudeau of Montreal,Canada is a charming addition for any collector. It has mid-century modern design and features a brown and beige glazed finish with lid/stopper and curved handle. If one was to use it, I believe it could hold 3-4 cups of tea. This ceramic piece made between1970-1979 is considered an antique and has no chips or cracks. While I am a big lover of collectible Mid-Century Modern art, this just isn't quite my style. When I researched its history I read that this was made in the era that the artist Genshin..."Genin" Trudeau became famous enough that he began working with Japan to help create his pottery with an Asian inspired style. I don't see that in this piece, however. I found an exact piece listed in Canada in the color blue for 45.00, which corresponds to $30.00 American money. I will list the teapot for $45.00 and free shipping to cover the costs of making sure it arrives safely.
